I have a strong suspicion that this was the creation of some cell phone geek living out of his mom`s basement. While all the current incarnations of the SLVR bear the same letter (L2, L6, and L7), this latest handset is being dubbed the E9. The number perhaps makes sense, but you`ve got to wonder about the shift to the letter E, especially when this “news” comes from such a reliable source (a random Chinese website).
